The indictment charges three individuals with conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of a minor by force, fraud, and coercion, sex trafficking, and related offenses. An unsealed federal indictment charges Jamar Geeter, 39, of San Francisco, Kalvin Carter Jr., 44, of Waldorf, Maryland, and Jada Hasty, 29, of Coatesville, Pennsylvania, with conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of a minor by force, fraud, and coercion, sex trafficking, and coercion and enticement of a minor. Geeter and Hasty are also charged with producing child sexual abuse material. The three defendants allegedly conspired to compel three minors and one adult to engage in commercial sex acts in Delaware and elsewhere, using force, threats, fraud, or coercion. Geeter, already serving a 97-year state sentence for unrelated sex trafficking convictions, is accused of directing some of the conduct from prison using contraband cell phones.
Core Tension
The press release frames the case as an active, multi-agency effort that rescued four victims, including three children, from a coast-to-coast trafficking scheme. The charging document itself remains an allegation only. Geeter is accused of using contraband cell phones to direct some of the conduct while serving a 97-year sentence. The indictment charges all three with conspiracy and sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion carrying a minimum 15 years and maximum of life; Geeter and Hasty face additional counts with separate mandatory minimums of 15 or 25 years. The release does not give the dates of the alleged offenses or the victims’ ages.
