Trump Proclaims November 1–7, 2026, as Anti-Communism Week

President Donald J. Trump issued a proclamation designating the week of November 1 through November 7, 2026, as Anti-Communism Week. The document states that communist and socialist ideologies threaten human freedom by eliminating individual opportunity, subjugating individuals to the state, and extinguishing God-given rights. It says Americans this week honor the victims of socialism and communism, and it calls upon all Americans “to stand firm in their defense against any threat to the American way of life and to protect our burning flame of liberty from the darkness of communism.” The proclamation was signed on November 3, 2026.
